Requirements
- 5+ years solar experience.
- High level of electronic principles knowledge for advanced troubleshooting and procedure development.
- Advanced electrical testing equipment knowledge (multimeter, IV Curve Tracer, TTR, insulation resistance, etc.).
- Medium and High Electrical Voltage testing and safety experience.
- Experience performing substation and recloser switching.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and equipment programming.
- Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) programs.
- Ability to navigate SCADA system monitoring and applications.
- Leadership and mentorship experience.
- Ability to work in an outside environment, lift >35 lbs, walk on uneven ground, and handle temperature extremes.
- Ability to wear and safely utilize all required PPE.
Responsibilities
- Develop troubleshooting, maintenance and repair procedures for inverters, trackers, BESS units and other systems on site.
- On-Board EPC projects being built in the assigned Region.
- Create and manage job folders for onboarding projects and operating projects.
- Audit Preventative maintenance schedules for the technicians to follow that are developed by the site leads.
- Review new contracts and understand the scope of services and response times for each project.
- Develop and train technicians on ADVANCED testing and repair of AC and DC electrical circuits.
- Audit site safety and security on all jobs being performed on site by personnel and contractors.
- Manage and audit all maintenance activities performed into a computerized maintenance management system, HEIS 2.0.
