Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of progressive IT experience OR Associate's Degree with 10+ years OR 12+ years of equivalent IT experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a SharePoint Engineer, including expertise in SharePoint Online and migrations.
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online architecture, capabilities, and configuration.
- Proven experience with SharePoint migrations using tools such as ShareGate, Metalogix, or other migration platforms.
- Proficiency in Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) and SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
- Strong understanding of Office 365 environment integrations including Teams, OneDrive, and Azure AD.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service mindset.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and manage SharePoint Online environments, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.
- Create and manage SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, permissions, and content structures based on business requirements.
- Use modern SharePoint features such as Power Automate, Power Apps, and SPFx to deliver customized and streamlined solutions.
- Plan and execute migrations from legacy SharePoint platforms (e.g., 2013/2016/2019) to SharePoint Online.
- Utilize tools such as ShareGate, Metalogix, or native SharePoint migration tools to ensure efficient and secure content migration.
- Validate and troubleshoot migration outcomes, resolving any issues related to data integrity, permissions, or configurations.
- Work closely with OCC technical teams, business users, and other stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
- Develop and enforce governance models for content management, site usage, and permissions in alignment with OCC policies.
- Perform ongoing support, patching, and upgrades within the SharePoint Online environment.
