Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3–5 years of specialized recruiting experience in expert network firms, litigation support, or insurance defense.
  • Proven track record sourcing non-traditional, highly technical roles.
  • Strong investigative research skills using LinkedIn, academic publications, and industry registries.
  • Deep understanding of professional credentials, technical CVs, and scientific/technical disciplines.
  • Excellent negotiation, contract communication, and relationship-management skills.
  • Working knowledge of legal, insurance, or forensic terminology.
  • High proficiency in ATS, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office.
  • Must supply and maintain reliable, high-speed internet for remote work.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for industry conferences as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Understand client requirements and case constraints to negotiate expert witness agreement terms.
  • Proactively research and source new niche specialists in engineering, financial, forensic, and scientific fields.
  • Onboard new experts by collecting documentation such as CVs, certifications, and fee schedules.
  • Maintain existing expert records, profiles, and fee schedules.
  • Lead complex negotiations and contract renewals for high-priority expert witnesses.
  • Handle sensitive or urgent client requests and fulfill high-priority open service requests.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Operations to align the expert network with pipeline demand.
