Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
- 15 years in IT/software product management with experience driving product strategy, roadmap execution, and backlog management.
- Hands-on experience across the SDLC using Agile/SAFe methods.
- Proven experience in prioritization, stakeholder communication, and value-based decision making.
- Strong facilitation and executive-ready verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, and Teams.
- Familiarity with Jira, including epics, stories, workflows, and dashboards.
- Analytical and detail-oriented approach with experience in governance, performance metrics, and reporting.
- Understanding of VA Healthcare IT products and processes, including EHR interoperability.
Responsibilities
- Own and continuously refine JLV's Product Strategy, Vision, and Roadmap.
- Conduct frequent meetings with clinicians, business owners, and end users to gather insights and understand needs.
- Represent the product across VA interoperability discussions.
- Maintain, prioritize, and refine the Product Backlog to ensure alignment to roadmap.
- Apply WSJF prioritization for features and negotiate across business and technical partners.
- Translate cross-functional requirements into epics for program increment delivery.
- Present product vision, roadmaps, and milestones during PI Planning.
- Maintain product artifacts including user flows, journey maps, release notes, and decision logs.
