Requirements
- Advanced degree in a health-sciences related field (PharmD, MD, DO, PhD).
- 5+ years of previous MSL or relevant pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
- Experience in addiction medicine preferred.
- Strong relationship building skills with top-tier medical experts.
- Business and scientific acumen with the ability to communicate complex information.
- Understanding of the managed care arena and pharmacoeconomic principles.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, team, and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a virtual environment.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to travel 60–70%.
Responsibilities
- Provide disease state awareness and product information to managed care organizations and healthcare providers.
- Maintain up-to-date scientific expertise of disease state, clinical information, and competitive landscape.
- Identify and develop peer-to-peer relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
- Present scientific product data in hospital, institutional, and academic settings.
- Serve as a liaison for investigator-initiated trials (IITs) and address medical information requests.
- Support company-sponsored clinical trials, recruitment, speaker training, and advisory board meetings.
- Deliver training on disease state and product information to internal and external partners.
