Requirements

  • Advanced degree in a health-sciences related field such as PharmD, MD, DO, or PhD.
  • 5+ years of previous MSL or relevant pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated business and scientific acumen in communicating complex information.
  • Experience in addiction medicine preferred.
  • Understanding of the managed care arena and pharmacoeconomic principles.
  • Ability to thrive in a virtual environment.
  • Commitment to teamwork, leadership, and results-oriented business objectives.
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to travel up to 60–70% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Provide disease state awareness, product information, and pharmacoeconomic analyses to managed care organizations and formulary decision makers.
  • Maintain up-to-date scientific expertise of disease states, product data, and the competitive landscape.
  • Identify and develop peer-to-peer relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) through balanced scientific exchange.
  • Present scientific data and disease awareness information in hospital, institutional, and academic settings.
  • Serve as a liaison for investigator-initiated trials and address unsolicited medical information requests from healthcare professionals.
  • Support company-sponsored trials, site recruitment, advisory boards, and speaker training initiatives.
  • Provide scientific training to internal and external partners.
  • Attend scientific and medical meetings to provide booth and session coverage.
