Requirements
- Advanced degree in a health-sciences related field such as PharmD, MD, DO, or PhD.
- 5+ years of previous MSL or relevant pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated business and scientific acumen in communicating complex information.
- Experience in addiction medicine preferred.
- Understanding of the managed care arena and pharmacoeconomic principles.
- Ability to thrive in a virtual environment.
- Commitment to teamwork, leadership, and results-oriented business objectives.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to travel up to 60–70% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Provide disease state awareness, product information, and pharmacoeconomic analyses to managed care organizations and formulary decision makers.
- Maintain up-to-date scientific expertise of disease states, product data, and the competitive landscape.
- Identify and develop peer-to-peer relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) through balanced scientific exchange.
- Present scientific data and disease awareness information in hospital, institutional, and academic settings.
- Serve as a liaison for investigator-initiated trials and address unsolicited medical information requests from healthcare professionals.
- Support company-sponsored trials, site recruitment, advisory boards, and speaker training initiatives.
- Provide scientific training to internal and external partners.
- Attend scientific and medical meetings to provide booth and session coverage.
