Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED, with some post-high school education.
- Working knowledge of WorldSpan GDS.
- Working knowledge of SABRE GDS.
- Travel industry experience.
- Proactive approach to systems and processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer service orientation.
- Available for weekend work.
- Must be able to attend one week of in-person orientation in Virginia Beach, VA.
Responsibilities
- Secure air, car and hotel accommodations for contracted government agencies.
- Ensure all booked travel adheres to government travel regulations.
- Maintain travel queues throughout the day.
- Initiate and complete cancellation or reservation change processes with timely client notification.
- Provide status updates to client agencies regarding pending travel.
- Conduct research on travel industry changes and trends.
- Maintain a professional customer service attitude and recommend value-added services.
