Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunications, or equivalent professional experience.
- 8+ years of progressive network engineering experience in medium to large enterprise environments.
- 3+ years of experience designing and operating cloud networking environments (AWS/Azure).
- Hands-on experience with network automation (Terraform, Ansible, Python, GitHub Actions).
- Advanced troubleshooting expertise in routing, switching, DNS, VPNs, and load balancing.
- Deep understanding of Layer 2/3 protocols including OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and spanning tree.
- Strong knowledge of network security (next-gen firewalls, segmentation, IDS/IPS, zero-trust).
- Proven experience leading complex multi-site and multi-cloud implementation projects.
- Ability to utilize telemetry, packet capture, and observability tools for data-driven decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor peers and influence technical decisions.
- Capability to provide on-demand support in a 24x7 operational environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize hybrid network architectures across on-premises and multi-cloud environments.
- Develop automation solutions using infrastructure-as-code and scripting tools to improve efficiency.
- Lead advanced troubleshooting for complex network incidents involving routing, security, and cloud connectivity.
- Serve as technical lead for large-scale network migrations, modernizations, and expansions.
- Collaborate with security, platform, and application teams to deliver integrated, scalable solutions.
- Analyze network performance, capacity, and cost metrics to support strategic optimization.
- Provide technical mentorship to network engineers through design reviews and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in 24x7 mission-critical support activities and high-priority incident resolution.
