Requirements
- 8+ years of experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale.
- Proficiency in backend languages such as Python or Kotlin.
- Extensive experience developing highly available distributed systems.
- Technical expertise in AWS, MySQL, Spark, and Kubernetes.
- Experience in financial systems, ledgering, treasury, or adjacent domains.
- Track record of delivering major features or system components through technical execution plans.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Set technical strategy for your team on a year-long time scale.
- Collaborate across the product development lifecycle with product management, design, and analytics.
- Act as a force-multiplier through definition and advocacy of technical solutions.
- Own team operations, including monitoring, triage, and on-call efforts.
- Foster a culture of quality and ownership by setting code review and design standards.
- Develop talent on your team through feedback, guidance, and leading by example.
