Requirements
- Prior experience working in a SOC environment.
- Fluent spoken and written English and Japanese.
- Strong infosec background with practical application security skills.
- Experience in an IT or security technical support, operations, or research role.
- Familiarity with SaaS/cloud or hybrid cloud deployments.
- Knowledge of web server platforms such as Apache, NGINX, or IIS.
- Scripting ability in languages such as Python, Java, Go, Rust, PHP, Unix/Linux Shell, or C#.
- Experience with Unix/Linux or Windows system administration.
- Experience troubleshooting software products.
- Ability to work with limited supervision and mentor the team on security knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze customer activity with a focus on security functions such as bot attacks and WAF administration.
- Provide expert response to escalated security issues for customers.
- Perform continuous improvement work and research to enhance security products and operations.
- Contribute to organizational processes and policies as the team scales.
- Create and review security reporting for customers.
- Create and manage security content for customer environments.
