Requirements
- 5-7+ years of experience in IT Security.
- Prior experience with incident response, investigations, and forensics analysis.
- Strong understanding of security best practices for systems, networks, and telecommunications.
- Must hold at least one of the following certifications: GSEC, GCIH, GPEN, GCED, PCNSE, or OSCP.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco network devices and Palo Alto firewalls.
- Experience with password safes (CyberArk or BeyondTrust) and micro-segmentation (e.g., Illumio).
- Experience with SIEM (Microsoft Sentinel), IDS/IPS (Vectra AI, Snort), and endpoint security.
- Proficiency with vulnerability management tools (Tenable, Rapid7, Qualys).
- Strong technical skills in Windows, Linux, Active Directory, and M365/Azure security.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, VB, or PowerShell.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems, or equivalent work experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage firewalls, Anti-Virus, Web Filtering, DLP, IPS/IDS, NAC, DDOS, and endpoint detection solutions.
- Manage and investigate all security events until resolution using SIEM systems.
- Conduct technical security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability scans.
- Create weekly security reports and maintain information security metrics.
- Conduct malware analysis, threat hunting, and research on new exploit techniques.
- Participate in the Cyber Incident Response team and project reviews.
- Maintain relationships with third-party security vendors.
