Requirements
- BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 15+ years of experience in FP&A or financial operations.
- Direct experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP.
- Deep understanding of forecasting methodologies and clinical program accruals.
- Proven track record of cross-functional influence and executive-level communication.
- Experience applying AI and automation tools to enhance financial analysis and reporting.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and lead through organizational change.
- Strong business judgment and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Drive company-wide financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
- Serve as a financial thought partner to program teams and functional leaders to support investment and trade-off decisions.
- Evaluate strategic opportunities, challenge assumptions, and lead resource allocation and portfolio prioritization.
- Advance financial systems, reporting, and analytics to improve decision-making accountability.
- Implement AI and automation within FP&A workflows to increase analysis efficiency.
- Conduct scenario analysis and risk/opportunity assessments to align resources with strategy.
- Translate complex financial analyses into actionable insights for senior leadership.
- Support accounting close processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.
