Requirements
- 7+ years of product management experience, ideally in external integrations, data platforms, or IoT/hardware-connected systems.
- Demonstrated track record of owning integration roadmaps, including vendor management and defining technical requirements.
- Experience working on monitoring, alerting, or operational intelligence products that feed downstream workflows.
- Data fluency, including SQL proficiency or equivalent comfort with data tools.
- Strong project management instincts for tracking cross-functional dependencies and complex workstreams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for influencing senior stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset capable of long-term planning (12–24 months) while maintaining sprint-level execution.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a comfort for ambiguity and building products from the ground up.
- Background in energy, clean tech, or hardware-adjacent industries is a strong plus.
- Genuinely curious about hardware, data pipelines, and alerting logic.
Responsibilities
- Own the strategy for ingesting device data from a diverse portfolio of OEM partners like solar inverters, batteries, and HVAC systems.
- Develop standardized data models and API contracts to normalize heterogeneous device signals into a consistent schema.
- Design self-service platform capabilities to reduce dependency on engineering for routine data access.
- Define and evolve performance monitoring and outcome-driven alerting logic for clean energy assets.
- Manage the consumer-facing data experience, ensuring homeowners have clear visibility into system performance.
- Define product strategy, OKRs, and roadmaps while balancing foundational platform investments with new feature requests.
