Requirements
- 2+ years as a Product Owner on a team of 8+ engineers.
- Ability to make real scope decisions and explain prioritization trade-offs.
- Experience reasoning about cost of delay and effort vs. value.
- Capability to read API contracts and understand service boundaries.
- Proficiency with technical concepts; familiarity with Node.js and microservices is a plus.
- Evidence of writing high-quality user stories or technical tickets.
- English language proficiency at B1/B2 level or higher.
- Must use AI tools to improve output and efficiency.
- Optimization for value shipped rather than ticket closure.
Responsibilities
- Take product briefs and decompose them into shippable increments.
- Own the backlog end-to-end, including acceptance criteria, edge cases, and definition of done.
- Weigh every increment against its engineering effort, expected value, and cost of delay.
- Prioritize tasks using visible scores and defend decisions with data.
- Manage communication with stakeholders regarding shipping schedules and changes.
- Maintain team flow by monitoring metrics like cycle time, predictability, and WIP to resolve bottlenecks.
