Requirements
- Strong, recent, and hands-on experience managing Airbnb properties.
- Proven experience managing multiple short-term or vacation rental listings simultaneously.
- Experience using both Airbnb and VRBO platforms.
- Previous experience working for a property management, hospitality, or vacation rental company.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Airbnb guest journey, rules, and issue resolution.
- Ability to manage guest communications independently without training on Airbnb fundamentals.
- Strong written English communication skills with a professional and empathetic tone.
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through capabilities.
- Ability to handle urgent concerns calmly and make sound operational decisions.
- Comfortable working independently while coordinating with cleaners, contractors, and team members.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple short-term rental listings across Airbnb and VRBO platforms.
- Create, launch, update, and optimize property listings including amenities, descriptions, and availability.
- Handle guest communications throughout the entire booking lifecycle from inquiry to check-out.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, urgent concerns, and access issues.
- Maintain reservation calendars to ensure accuracy across all platforms.
- Coordinate cleaners, turnovers, and maintenance requests with contractors and team members.
- Ensure guests receive accurate check-in instructions and follow-up support.
- Perform light bookkeeping tasks in QuickBooks for property-related expenses.
- Support dynamic pricing and revenue-management activities as required.
