Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in finance or accounting operations.
- Deep understanding of cash flow principles and forecasting for a physical-product/inventory brand.
- Hands-on experience with accounting platforms such as QuickBooks or Xero.
- Proven ability to build and document financial processes from scratch.
- Ability to read and interpret financial statements and aging reports.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including building forecast models.
- Experience with lending facility reporting and multi-state sales tax monitoring is a plus.
- Prior experience using Gusto for payroll administration is preferred.
- Experience in E-commerce or DTC is a major plus.
Responsibilities
- Calculate weekly cash requirements (Opex, Payroll, Marketing, Inventory) to support leadership planning.
- Review weekly A/P and manage the payment lifecycle for domestic and global suppliers.
- Develop, document, and maintain Finance SOPs for A/P workflows, payroll, and tax calendars.
- Manage payroll operations including reimbursements and benefit deductions via Gusto.
- Support lending facility reporting, borrowing base, and inventory aging assessments.
- Coordinate with external CPAs for tax filings and year-end close procedures.
