Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent relevant industry experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of successful sales experience in industrial, mechanical, waterworks, infrastructure, or related markets.
- Proven track record of territory growth through customer acquisition, channel development, project influence, and market expansion.
- Experience developing and executing strategic sales plans while consistently achieving revenue objectives.
- Strong business acumen with excellent problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to influence customers, partners, and cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Experience using CRM systems, forecasting tools, pipeline management processes, and opportunity tracking platforms.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 60%.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory growth plans across California, Hawaii, Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico to achieve sales and market share objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, manufacturers’ representatives, contractors, engineers, municipalities, and utilities.
- Drive project opportunities by influencing specifications, expanding channel partnerships, and developing conversion strategies.
- Manage and grow assigned manufacturer representative and distribution networks through training and joint sales initiatives.
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline through disciplined CRM usage, forecasting, and account planning.
- Collaborate with internal operations, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve customer challenges and improve delivery performance.
- Represent the organization at customer meetings, project sites, and industry trade events.
