Requirements
- Bachelor’s in CS/EE/IT or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years in data center networking.
- Strong routing/switching proficiency: BGP, OSPF, EVPN/VXLAN, ECMP, IPv4/IPv6, QoS.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Arista, or Juniper hardware.
- Experience with ACI or EVPN fabrics.
- Proficiency with monitoring and NetOps tools (e.g., NetBox, SolarWinds, sFlow/SNMP, Grafana).
- Scripting/automation skills using Python and Ansible.
- Proficiency in version control (Git).
- On-call rotation availability.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain data center networks and interconnects.
- Monitor network performance/capacity; optimize to meet uptime and latency targets.
- Troubleshoot connectivity, latency, and packet loss; perform RCA and remediation.
- Implement network security and segmentation (ACLs, firewalls, microsegmentation).
- Automate provisioning and configuration (Ansible/Python); maintain documentation.
- Plan and execute changes, upgrades, and lifecycle management with minimal downtime.
