Requirements
- 5+ years experience in a high tech sales/solutions engineering or systems/network engineering role.
- Must be located in EMEA region.
- Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to conduct technical conversations with prospects ranging from staff-level engineers to senior executives.
- Experience managing Cisco/Juniper routers and Linux servers.
- Strong understanding of network and application protocols (e.g. Netflow, SNMP, BGP, DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP).
- Understanding of DDoS attacks and basic mitigation methods.
- Frequent travel (30%+) required.
Responsibilities
- Manage all technical aspects of the sales journey including product demonstration, proof of concept, and feature requests.
- Respond to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
- Assist marketing in identifying opportunities to expand product marketing collateral.
- Channel customer requirements and product feedback to the product management organization.
- Collaborate with Customer Success to support post-sales integration and roadmap sharing.
- Work in tandem with the account team to meet or exceed sales booking objectives.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and meetups.
- Travel frequently (30%+) for onsite meetings with customers.
