Requirements
- Strong communication skills with experience documenting decisions and educating teams.
- Proven experience collaborating with design, development, engineering, and product teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, including component management and variables.
- Knowledge of Design Token structures, including semantic naming and theming.
- Experience applying digital accessibility principles and WCAG guidelines.
- Ability to create clear and effective documentation for components and design guidelines.
- Strong organizational skills to manage initiatives and continuous improvements.
- Basic front-end knowledge is desirable.
- Experience with AI tools or design automation is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Define and manage Design Tokens, including standards for colors, spacing, borders, and other visual foundations.
- Create, maintain, and evolve core component libraries in Figma to ensure governance and consistency.
- Establish and apply digital accessibility guidelines based on WCAG principles.
- Perform technical validation and usability testing of components and design solutions.
- Facilitate handoff processes and provide clear guidelines and documentation for development teams.
- Develop workshops, training sessions, and educational materials to support Design System adoption.
- Analyze adoption metrics and feedback to identify improvement opportunities and strategic evolution initiatives.
