Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing complex software used daily.
- Portfolio demonstrating powerful technology made simple.
- Fluency in rapid prototyping, moving from napkin sketches to coded prototypes.
- Experience with zero-to-one product development in ambiguous environments.
- Track record of defining and inventing interaction paradigms.
- Strong written communication skills to explain design rationale.
- Proven ability to conduct user research and apply findings to product direction.
- Proficiency in prototyping tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
- Experience designing for mobile (iOS, Android) and web.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end design for major product areas including discovery flows, interaction patterns, and visual execution.
- Translate complex audio AI capabilities into intuitive interfaces.
- Run and synthesize user research with musicians to inform product decisions.
- Contribute to and evolve the design system across mobile, web, desktop, and plugins.
- Partner with PMs and engineers from initial problem framing to final shipment.
- Provide and receive design critiques to raise product quality.
