Requirements
- Background in forensic science, criminal justice/law enforcement, forensic engineering and/or sales.
- Demonstrated ability to isolate and identify technical problems and formulate/demonstrate solutions.
- Experience selling scanning lasers or forensic/public safety capital equipment is a strong plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a Forensic Science related field strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
Responsibilities
- Generate sales revenues by performing product demonstrations at selected customer sites.
- Evaluate customer requirements including workflow, funding sources, and investigative processes.
- Identify additional sales opportunities outside of traditional channels.
- Collaborate with sales management, inside sales, and engineering teams to advance and close sales.
- Provide feedback to R&D for product improvement.
- Act as the primary point of contact and provide technical support during the evaluation period.
