Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record designing and operating modern cloud data platforms.
- Experience in high-growth SaaS environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks.
- Proficiency in dbt, Airflow, and Python for data engineering.
- Strong skills in SQL and data modeling.
- Expertise in data warehousing architectures, quality frameworks, and governance.
- Familiarity with streaming architectures and event-driven systems.
- Experience with BI, product analytics, CRM, and customer data platforms.
- Demonstrable AI-first mindset, including AI-powered development workflows and debugging.
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects from design through delivery.
Responsibilities
- Evolve data architecture into a scalable, cloud-native, AI-first foundation.
- Lead the transition from batch-oriented pipelines to near real-time and streaming data systems.
- Build data products consumable by AI agents, analytics systems, and business users.
- Enable semantic layers, metadata management, and knowledge structures to improve data accessibility.
- Use AI to accelerate development, testing, documentation, and operational workflows.
- Design systems enabling AI agents to interact with and act upon business data.
- Improve BI usability and self-service analytics without compromising governance or data quality.
- Raise the engineering bar through mentorship, code reviews, and architectural leadership.
