Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a data engineer with a proven track record of end-to-end delivery.
- Professional fluency in English and excellent collaboration skills.
- Strong understanding of software engineering and architectural principles.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with testing, REST, and Docker.
- In-depth experience with at least one modern cloud data platform (Databricks, Snowflake, or BigQuery).
- Expertise in SQL and data modeling.
- Experience in AI engineering including prompt design, function calling, and using OpenAI/Anthropic APIs.
- Code-as-data fluency, including codegen, templating, and parsing.
- Comfortable using version control (Git) and collaborating on CI/CD workflows.
- Ability to guide others and collaborate across technical and leadership teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain platform adapters targeting Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, and AWS.
- Build abstractions to unify workflows across multiple cloud data platforms.
- Design and implement evaluation and verification layers to ensure AI-generated output is correct and idiomatic.
- Develop production-grade data pipelines, transformation logic, and warehouse/catalog scaffolding.
- Own IaC, CI/CD, and governance accelerators including data contracts, lineage, and quality.
- Integrate solutions into partner delivery workflows and ensure long-term adoption.
