Requirements
- Proven experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner with generalist competencies across the employee lifecycle.
- Strong background in independently managing voluntary and involuntary terminations with sensitivity and legal compliance.
- Understanding of employee relations principles, progressive discipline, and workplace investigation fundamentals.
- Ability to interpret and apply industrial instruments and employment laws across various jurisdictions.
- Superior communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills.
- Business-level proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to collaborate asynchronously on various tools and adapt to new systems.
- Strong automation and AI capabilities and AI fluency.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, asynchronous, remote environment.
- Tertiary qualifications in HR, labour relations, or employment law are considered a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve complex end-to-end employee exits with minimal supervision across multiple international jurisdictions.
- Lead and facilitate client meetings regarding workforce reduction, administrative hearings, and separation negotiations.
- Draft, tailor, and administer all termination and supplementary documents while ensuring strict confidentiality.
- Process offboarding in the internal HRIS and collaborate with Legal, Payroll, and Customer Success teams.
- Provide comprehensive Employee Relations guidance to help clients navigate workplace scenarios and disciplinary approaches.
- Conduct preliminary assessments of workplace concerns and monitor ongoing relations cases.
- Identify, advocate for, and implement process improvements, automation, and product development opportunities.
