Requirements

- Active membership in good standing with a state bar.
- Prior immigration law experience required.
- 3–6+ years of relevant legal experience preferred.
- Experience working with case management systems is a plus.
- Strong understanding of legal processes, documentation standards, and client communication practices.
- Ability to analyze complex information, make sound decisions, and identify potential risks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with attorneys and operational teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word and Excel, email platforms, and document management systems.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions while exercising sound professional judgment.
- Commitment to supporting individuals and families through accessible and effective legal services.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a bridge between attorneys and operations teams, ensuring legal guidance is accurately translated into daily processes.
- Manage client escalations independently while identifying risks and escalating complex matters to legal leadership when appropriate.
- Review and maintain scripts, FAQs, workflows, and client communication resources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Partner with legal teams to capture updates to immigration policies, procedures, and government guidance.
- Conduct legal research on immigration law topics and incorporate findings into operational resources and training materials.
- Coordinate legal training sessions, refreshers, and updates to ensure teams understand and apply current guidance.
- Act as a legal subject matter expert for operational projects, including process mapping, policy alignment, and implementation initiatives.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, documentation, and team efficiency.
- Monitor refund, contract, and sensitive client-related issues, ensuring appropriate routing and resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational priorities and maintain high-quality service standards.
