Requirements
- 1 to 2 election cycles (2-4 years) of experience in political fundraising and campaigns.
- Proficient in NGP-VAN and ActBlue.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets.
- Ability to create and manage budgets, finance plans, donor and call time lists, and cash flow projections.
- Willingness to gain deep knowledge of Florida’s campaign finance law, political landscape, lobby corp, and donor base.
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule.
- Willingness for frequent statewide and out-of-state travel for events and meetings.
Responsibilities
- Execute the cycle finance plan in concert with the Senior Advisor, Caucus Director, and FHDCC Leadership.
- Plan, sell, advertise, and execute the 2026 events program with in and out of state fundraising events, trips, and meetings.
- Manage the Leader Designate’s fundraising call time.
- Schedule and prepare the Leader Designate for donor meetings.
- Analyze past cycle giving history and track current cycle progress to inform fundraising asks.
- Research new potential donors and create realistic fundraising asks.
- Assist incumbent Members, program candidates, and campaign staff with individual campaign fundraising.
- Track expenditures, cash flow, and budget gaps for the caucus and program candidates.
