Requirements
- 6+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles.
- Proven experience owning or leading monthly close processes and financial operations.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting controls.
- Experience improving finance systems, workflows, and operational processes.
- Demonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies and implement automation solutions.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, and financial analysis.
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for AI, automation, and modern finance technologies.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple initiatives.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with executive stakeholders.
- Experience with SaaS, technology companies, or high-growth environments is a plus.
- Experience implementing or optimizing finance platforms and accounting systems is highly valued.
- CPA certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Manage general ledger activities, reconciliations, accruals, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Ensure U.S. GAAP compliance and lead audit preparation efforts.
- Transition accounting responsibilities to establish scalable finance operations.
- Optimize finance systems and identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation across workflows.
- Improve reporting through KPI dashboards, recurring financial analysis, and executive insights.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to inform business decisions.
- Design and document scalable finance processes to support company growth.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve financial visibility and operational effectiveness.
