Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, Program Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare program and project management.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience supporting large organizations or federal government agencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder programs in a government or federal healthcare contracting environment.
  • Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Position of Public Trust and complete required security, privacy, and onboarding requirements.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and operational planning.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing executive-level presentations and reports.
  • Ability to work effectively within matrixed organizations and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary task order manager responsible for planning, initiating, executing, monitoring, and closing program activities.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, integrated schedules, risk registers, and performance dashboards.
  • Coordinate across interdisciplinary teams, federal stakeholders, and contractor personnel to ensure milestones are achieved.
  • Create, review, and deliver high-quality program documentation, including status reports, briefings, and executive presentations.
  • Identify program risks, issues, and dependencies while leading root cause analyses and corrective action plans.
  • Monitor program performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability, efficiency, and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with federal contracting requirements, organizational policies, and healthcare program standards.
