Requirements
- Several years of direct, hands-on payroll experience in the Netherlands, including legislative knowledge of loonheffing, premies WW/ZW/WIA, Zorgverzekeringswet, and the 30% ruling.
- Several years of direct, hands-on payroll experience in Belgium, including ONSS/RSZ, Dimona, DmfA quarterly cycles, and sector CLA structures.
- Proven payroll implementation experience, owning or contributing to projects from kick-off through go-live.
- Direct working experience with AFAS for Dutch payroll.
- Strong communication skills for explaining complex compliance requirements to stakeholders.
- Structured mindset with strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Experience with payroll reconciliations and parallel run validation.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, asynchronous environment.
- Experience with EasyPay for Belgian payroll (preferred).
- Dutch or French language skills (strong advantage).
Responsibilities
- Own the planning, execution, and monitoring of payroll implementation projects from client kick-off through go-live.
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert for the Netherlands and Belgium, including participation in sales calls.
- Input and validate data directly in payroll software including AFAS (NL) and EasyPay (BE).
- Manage the full implementation lifecycle, ensuring complete records of configurations and SOPs for operations.
- Develop standardized payroll processes, project plans, and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Perform UAT testing and documentation for platform improvements.
- Support and mentor Payroll Generalists during implementations.
