Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a project or program manager, including managing multiple concurrent projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage full project lifecycles: scoping, planning, budgeting, execution, and reporting.
  • Experience facilitating meetings or workshops with diverse stakeholders and community members.
  • Familiarity with human-centered design methods such as discovery, ideation, and prototyping.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for varied audiences.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as ClickUp, Asana, or MS Project.
  • Demonstrated commitment to racial equity and ability to apply an equity lens to planning and facilitation.
  • Comfort working independently in an evolving, client-facing environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time for client meetings and site visits.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to sit or work at a computer for extended periods and operate under deadline pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day delivery for 2–3 concurrent client engagements, ensuring each stays on scope, on timeline, and on budget.
  • Develop and maintain work plans, timelines, and budgets in coordination with engagement leads and the finance team.
  • Establish and track KPIs and benchmarks to demonstrate progress and impact to clients and funders.
  • Design and facilitate human-centered design sessions, such as discovery interviews, workshops, and prototyping sprints.
  • Apply a racial equity lens throughout the engagement lifecycle.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client staff, partner organizations, and community members.
  • Prepare progress reports, deliverables, and presentations for leadership and funders.
  • Maintain clean, current project documentation and contribute reusable templates to the internal knowledge base.
