Requirements

  • Extensive experience selling for a Managed Service Provider.
  • Understanding of the nuances of recurring service contracts and IT support models.
  • Proven track record selling Microsoft 365 solutions.
  • Experience selling comprehensive cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., Cyber Essentials).
  • Demonstrated ability to build a pipeline from scratch without relying solely on inbound leads.
  • History of meeting and exceeding sales targets within the technology or professional services sector.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for business owners.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively source and qualify new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, LinkedIn, networking, and industry events.
  • Own the sales process from initial discovery calls to final contract signature, effectively managing a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with the presales and technical teams to scope bespoke solutions, produce high-quality proposals, and address technical Q&A.
  • Confidently present managed IT and security services to non-technical stakeholders and C-suite decision-makers.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all sales activity and provide accurate revenue forecasting to leadership.
  • Stay ahead of trends in cybersecurity (SOC, MDR) and Microsoft 365 to act as a trusted advisor to prospective clients.
