Requirements
- Production-grade Rust experience building high-performance, concurrent systems
- Proficiency with Tokio
- Hands-on experience in a systematic trading environment (HFT, Market Making, Quantitative Trading, or similar)
- Solid understanding of execution, market data, and operational risk
- Strong AWS and Linux expertise
- Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages
- Deep familiarity with trading system protocols (FIX, REST, WebSocket)
- Solid grasp of low-latency networking: TCP/UDP, packet and latency path analysis, and kernel bypass (DPDK)
- Familiarity with agentic engineering tools (LLMs, MCP APIs, AI-First IDEs)
- Excellent communication skills and a team player mindset
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimise low-latency, mission-critical trading systems
- Own key trading stack components end-to-end — from architecture through to production operation
- Collaborate closely with quants, traders, and engineers to deliver solutions that improve trading performance and resilience
- Maintain and evolve trading infrastructure with a focus on performance, stability, observability, and operational excellence
- Troubleshoot complex production issues across exchange connectivity, execution, and market data handling
- Drive engineering standards through technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring
- Embrace agentic engineering principles: leverage AI-assisted workflows, drive automation of operational tasks, and help evolve the team's agentic tooling
- Contribute to functional, component, and production-readiness testing for critical trading components
