Requirements

  • 10-12 years of experience overseeing executive communications, ideally in-house within a fast-paced, high-growth tech or AI environment.
  • 3+ years of experience in people management.
  • Comfortable providing feedback to executives and implementing independent results.
  • Experience in pre-IPO communications.
  • Experience in policy and regulatory communications.
  • Exceptional writing talent with the ability to distill complex, cross-functional topics into compelling narratives.
  • Experience serving as a communications business partner to senior leaders, executives, and HR teams.
  • Highly organized and process-driven with strong project management skills.
  • Ability to navigate organizational dynamics and build relationships across all levels.
  • Thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with a bias for action.

Responsibilities

  • Refine executive communications strategy for high-impact speaking opportunities and stages.
  • Develop corporate communications strategies aligned with organizational goals, values, and brand positioning.
  • Drive content across speaking engagements, op-eds, podcasts, and executive social media.
  • Manage a small team including a speechwriter and external vendor.
  • Execute rapid response communications on behalf of executives.
  • Oversee communication forums including industry conferences, customer events, and leadership gatherings.
  • Lead cross-functional storytelling initiatives to amplify customer success and executive thought leadership.
  • Leverage data-driven insights and audience research to inform communication strategies.
  • Support crisis and issues communications preparedness in coordination with legal and functional teams.
  • Serve as the central hub for consistent messaging across internal communications, PR, and marketing.
