Requirements
- 10-12 years of experience overseeing executive communications, ideally in-house within a fast-paced, high-growth tech or AI environment.
- 3+ years of experience in people management.
- Comfortable providing feedback to executives and implementing independent results.
- Experience in pre-IPO communications.
- Experience in policy and regulatory communications.
- Exceptional writing talent with the ability to distill complex, cross-functional topics into compelling narratives.
- Experience serving as a communications business partner to senior leaders, executives, and HR teams.
- Highly organized and process-driven with strong project management skills.
- Ability to navigate organizational dynamics and build relationships across all levels.
- Thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with a bias for action.
Responsibilities
- Refine executive communications strategy for high-impact speaking opportunities and stages.
- Develop corporate communications strategies aligned with organizational goals, values, and brand positioning.
- Drive content across speaking engagements, op-eds, podcasts, and executive social media.
- Manage a small team including a speechwriter and external vendor.
- Execute rapid response communications on behalf of executives.
- Oversee communication forums including industry conferences, customer events, and leadership gatherings.
- Lead cross-functional storytelling initiatives to amplify customer success and executive thought leadership.
- Leverage data-driven insights and audience research to inform communication strategies.
- Support crisis and issues communications preparedness in coordination with legal and functional teams.
- Serve as the central hub for consistent messaging across internal communications, PR, and marketing.
