Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building, deploying, and maintaining full-stack, scalable applications.
- Experience in early-stage, zero-to-one environments.
- Proven leadership experience in mentoring or supervising junior/mid-level engineers.
- Expertise in modern authentication/authorization patterns (OAuth2, JWT, RBAC).
- Strong proficiency in SQL and NoSQL database architectures.
- Experience with modern backend frameworks such as Node.js/TypeScript or Python/FastAPI.
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React/Next.js.
- Proficiency in cloud hosting (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of event-driven architectures including queues and pub/sub.
- Ability to translate complex technical plans into roadmaps for non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design a clean, scalable architecture for the core platform.
- Lead the evaluation and selection of programming languages, frameworks, and infrastructure components.
- Directly mentor and pair with a full-time junior engineer.
- Design and implement a granular Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) system.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, linting, and deployment guardrails.
- Design and implement bi-directional API integrations with Greenhouse, HiBob, and Jira.
- Partner with a Product Manager to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Develop a high-performance search and discovery engine for the talent pool.
