Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, sales engineering, or similar customer-facing technical roles.
- Experience working with open-source technologies, observability platforms, monitoring solutions, cloud technologies, or related technical ecosystems.
- Strong ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
- Experience delivering product demonstrations, technical presentations, workshops, and proof-of-concept engagements.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to understand customer challenges and design creative solutions.
- Technical background with experience in engineering, software development, infrastructure, cloud platforms, or related fields.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with remote, international teams across different functions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation abilities.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a fast-moving environment.
- Ability to manage varied responsibilities while demonstrating sound judgment and ownership.
- Interest in continuously learning new technologies and expanding technical expertise.
- Ideally located in the East Coast region of the United States, particularly near major technology hubs.
Responsibilities
- Partner with sales teams to communicate product value, technical capabilities, and strategic solutions to prospective and existing customers.
- Own technical customer engagements, supporting opportunity qualification, evaluations, demonstrations, and successful deal execution.
- Deliver product presentations, technical workshops, hands-on enablement sessions, and customized demonstrations based on customer needs.
- Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their technical challenges, business goals, and operational requirements.
- Provide technical guidance throughout the customer journey, helping organizations maximize platform adoption and business value.
- Act as a feedback channel between customers and internal product and engineering teams, sharing insights on customer needs and market trends.
- Drive technical discussions around customer problems and recommend effective solution approaches.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve documentation, knowledge resources, training materials, blog content, videos, and enablement resources.
- Stay current on competitive solutions, industry trends, and emerging technologies to support strategic customer conversations.
- Contribute to a collaborative environment by sharing technical knowledge and helping improve team practices.
