Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in cards, payments, fintech, banking, or related financial technology industries.
  • Proven experience launching and operating global card programs, including both virtual and physical card products.
  • Hands-on experience delivering digital wallet integrations such as Apple Pay and/or Google Pay from initial setup through launch.
  • Deep understanding of the card payment ecosystem, including issuers, BIN sponsors, processors, manufacturers, and wallet providers.
  • Experience working directly with major payment industry stakeholders and financial institutions.
  • Experience launching payment products across multiple countries or regions.
  • Understanding of regulated financial products, compliance requirements, and cross-border payment environments.
  • Strong business development, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to operate independently, manage ambiguity, and build scalable processes from the ground up.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data to identify opportunities and improve performance.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the global card business roadmap, including virtual cards, physical cards, and digital wallet integrations.
  • Lead end-to-end launches and scaling initiatives for card programs across different markets and regions.
  • Manage strategic relationships with issuers, BIN sponsors, payment processors, card manufacturers, wallet providers, and ecosystem partners.
  • Drive digital wallet integrations, including Apple Pay, Google Pay, and regional wallet solutions, managing certification, testing, tokenization, and launch readiness.
  • Oversee physical card supply chain operations, including manufacturing, fulfillment, logistics, and vendor management.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing structures, and partnership terms.
  • Develop scalable operating models, launch procedures, standard operating processes, and escalation frameworks.
  • Collaborate with product, growth, and regional teams to develop go-to-market strategies.
  • Analyze business performance metrics, identify operational challenges, and implement data-driven improvements.
