Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, clinical research, healthcare, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Previous experience working within an oncology clinical trial site, oncology site network, or similar clinical research environment.
  • Strong understanding of challenges and opportunities related to CRO partnerships, site selection, feasibility, and study startup activities.
  • Proven experience developing and managing relationships with clinical research sites, sponsors, and/or CRO partners.
  • Experience in oncology feasibility, site identification, clinical operations, or pharmaceutical research environments.
  • Understanding of clinical trial design, recruitment strategies, regulatory requirements, and global site selection processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using data to support strategic decisions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners at various organizational levels.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy and execution of oncology site relationship development and engagement initiatives for clinical trials.
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term partnerships with key clinical research sites and site networks.
  • Develop data-driven approaches to identify and prioritize high-performing site partners that support accurate planning and predictable trial delivery.
  • Collaborate with feasibility, clinical operations, project management, and other cross-functional teams to incorporate site insights into trial strategies.
  • Engage with site partners during pre-award activities to identify opportunities, improve study planning, and support proposal development.
  • Monitor post-award trial delivery to ensure effective startup, communication processes, and operational alignment.
  • Present site engagement strategies during client meetings, bid defenses, and strategic discussions.
  • Track performance indicators and identify opportunities to improve site engagement processes and trial outcomes.
  • Analyze challenges, identify operational risks, and recommend solutions to enhance clinical trial performance.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by sharing site intelligence and best practices across teams.
