Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of professional Android development experience using Kotlin.
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow, and modern Android architecture principles.
- Proven experience delivering production-ready Android applications with a focus on quality, usability, and performance.
- Experience integrating REST APIs and troubleshooting production issues across mobile applications.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases; exposure to TensorFlow Lite or on-device AI inference is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of mobile UX, edge cases, accessibility, and user-centered design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and work independently within a globally distributed remote team.
- Portfolio, GitHub repository, published applications, or examples of shipped work are considered a strong advantage.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and release native Android features using Kotlin while maintaining high standards for code quality and application reliability.
- Design intuitive mobile experiences for financial services, including payments, insurance, claims, renewals, and other customer-facing workflows.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to simplify complex user journeys and deliver seamless user experiences.
- Integrate backend APIs while ensuring application stability, security, responsiveness, and reliable data handling.
- Continuously optimize application performance by improving crash rates, memory usage, loading times, and overall responsiveness.
- Leverage analytics, production insights, and user behavior data to refine features and improve customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to AI-powered mobile experiences where intelligent features provide meaningful improvements to the overall user journey.
