Requirements
- Strong professional experience developing native Android applications using Kotlin.
- Proven experience building and shipping Android applications used by real customers.
- Strong understanding of Android architecture, Jetpack libraries, Coroutines, Flow, and modern Android development practices.
- Solid understanding of mobile user experience principles with a focus on creating intuitive and user-friendly applications.
- Experience debugging production issues and improving application performance, stability, and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment with changing requirements and a high level of ownership.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality products.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and collaborate with distributed global teams.
- Demonstrated experience contributing to the development, launch, or scaling of meaningful technology products or platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deliver native Android features using Kotlin while maintaining high standards of code quality and application performance.
- Build mobile experiences across onboarding, accounts, cards, payments, transfers, rewards, and AI-assisted user journeys.
- Transform complex financial workflows into simple, intuitive, and reliable Android experiences.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and AI specialists to take features from initial concepts to production releases.
- Own application quality by improving performance, crash rates, loading states, responsiveness, edge-case handling, and release stability.
- Integrate APIs, authentication systems, secure data handling processes, and financial workflows while ensuring reliability and security.
- Use analytics, customer feedback, and production insights to continuously improve application features after launch.
- Contribute to engineering best practices by writing maintainable code and taking ownership of the complete development lifecycle.
