Requirements
- MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent advanced scientific or clinical degree.
- 12+ years of experience in Medical Affairs within biopharmaceutical industry and/or academic medicine.
- Demonstrated hands-on leadership experience in Medical Information, IST programs, evidence generation planning, and expanded access.
- Experience leading global or multi-region medical planning and alignment in a matrixed organization.
- Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements for medical affairs activities.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of building scalable processes, governance, and teams.
- Experience driving AI, digital, or advanced-analytics initiatives within Medical Affairs strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in rare disease strongly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership.
- High degree of scientific rigor, integrity, and patient-centered focus.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of the integrated evidence generation plan in partnership with HEOR.
- Coordinate real-world evidence (RWE), registries, and Phase 4 / post-marketing studies.
- Manage the end-to-end strategy and operations of the investigator-sponsored trial (IST) program.
- Oversee affiliate Medical Information strategy, including content governance and vendor operations.
- Implement expanded access and compassionate use programs in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Define and drive the Medical Affairs AI strategy across evidence synthesis, content generation, and operations.
- Drive global medical planning, harmonizing strategy and standards across affiliates and regions.
- Coach and develop a high-performing team while representing the company at scientific forums.
