Requirements
- 12+ years of backend software engineering experience.
- At least 3 years in a senior technical leadership role.
- Deep expertise in .NET/C# and Azure Cloud Services.
- Strong proficiency in distributed systems, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with financial and transactional systems (order lifecycle, reconciliation, accounting integrations).
- Experience improving observability and infrastructure efficiency using Dynatrace or comparable tools.
- Ability to make cost-aware architectural decisions balancing scalability and reliability.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools.
- Experience in fintech, payments, or regulated industries (preferred).
- Experience defining testing strategies and contributing to service reliability (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to define technical direction and delivery sequencing.
- Drive engineering strategy for the Compliance domain, balancing product delivery with platform evolution.
- Lead platform modernization initiatives, POCs, and architectural improvements.
- Define and evolve engineering best practices, including testing strategies and event validation patterns.
- Design scalable, resilient distributed systems using .NET, Azure, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and CQRS.
- Advance observability and operational excellence using Dynatrace.
- Mentor engineers through design reviews, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
