Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience administering and configuring Zuora Billing and Revenue platforms.
- Zuora Certified Administrator certification.
- 5+ years of financial systems administration experience with platforms such as NetSuite, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, or Salesforce Financial Cloud.
- Deep understanding of subscription billing processes and revenue management concepts.
- Experience building and managing Zuora workflows, scripts, configurations, and customizations.
- Strong knowledge of Zuora reporting, data queries, and SQL.
- Proven ability to design solutions based on business needs and explain technical trade-offs.
- Experience working with integrations and iPaaS solutions such as Workato, plus understanding custom-coded integrations.
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment managing ambiguity.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnering with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to support additional business applications like Salesforce and telecom/IVR platforms.
Responsibilities
- Gather business requirements, design solutions, and configure Zuora applications to support finance operations.
- Develop and maintain strategic roadmaps for the Zuora ecosystem to improve scalability and efficiency.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives involving finance, engineering, and business teams for system enhancements.
- Translate business objectives into system requirements and identify optimal technical solutions.
- Architect and implement complex configurations, workflows, and integrations to improve platform performance.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications and process maps.
- Own change management and release processes to ensure system stability and data integrity.
- Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for automation and operational improvements.
- Support issue resolution and platform maintenance in collaboration with business systems teams.
- Mentor team members and business partners while representing the function with senior stakeholders.
