Requirements
- Proven experience closing full-cycle new business deals with specific examples of wins.
- Experience self-sourcing a pipeline.
- Strong skills in lead nurturing and generation with the ability to tailor approaches to individual employer needs.
- Ability to run sales cycles of different lengths while maintaining momentum.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across various seniority levels.
- Ability to adapt pitches in real-time to address the motivations of HR, Finance, and Payroll stakeholders.
- Proficiency in maintaining CRM updates and pipeline hygiene.
- Experience selling within the public sector (local government, NHS, or education) is a bonus.
- Experience selling financial wellbeing, employee benefits, or payroll products is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Own your sales cycle from pipeline generation through to closed contracts and deals.
- Proactively prospect potential employers by understanding their workforce and financial wellbeing challenges to shape tailored pitches.
- Deliver product demos and pitches to various public sector organizations.
- Own commercial negotiations through to a signed contract, including managing terms and procurement requirements.
- Navigate public sector procurement frameworks and manage multiple stakeholders throughout the sales cycle.
- Partner with Marketing and Product teams to ensure alignment and provide feedback on features and propositions.
- Manage and forecast pipeline accurately in HubSpot.
- Ensure smooth handovers to Onboarding and Customer Success teams.
- Represent the company at conferences, employer forums, and promotional events.
