Requirements
- 5+ years of professional QA experience, with proven experience testing complex web applications.
- Strong knowledge of modern QA methodologies, test design techniques, and the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Experience working within Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Practical experience with database testing, including writing complex SQL queries for validation, data integrity checks, and test data management.
- Foundational experience with test automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
- Ability to read and understand code in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python to support testing and automation initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a structured approach to problem-solving.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Excellent collaboration skills with developers, product owners, and QA teams.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and demonstrate ownership in a remote environment.
- Flexible, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to supporting colleagues and delivering high-quality outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Manage the complete QA lifecycle, from reviewing requirements and user stories to creating test strategies, executing validations, and assessing release readiness.
- Perform comprehensive functional, integration, regression, compatibility, and exploratory testing for web applications.
- Conduct API and backend testing using tools such as Postman, while validating business logic and data integrity through SQL queries.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout their lifecycle, collaborating closely with developers to ensure effective resolutions.
- Advocate for quality best practices and contribute to improving QA processes, methodologies, and testing tools.
- Participate in requirement reviews, grooming sessions, and technical discussions to improve testability and reduce risks.
- Share knowledge and support team growth by promoting testing best practices and a strong quality mindset.
