Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years of relevant experience as a Frontend Engineer.
- Proficiency in modern frontend technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue.js, or React.
- Thorough knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript languages, modern syntax, and features.
- Solid understanding of web fundamentals: HTML, CSS, browser APIs, performance, security, and accessibility.
- Comprehensive knowledge of software testing concepts (unit, integration, test automation) and frameworks like Cypress or Playwright.
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, test pipelines, and issue escalation.
- Experience leading complex technical initiatives and driving cross-team alignments.
- Proven ability to mentor peers and contribute to technical excellence.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrates AI literacy and the ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity.
Responsibilities
- Ship marketable features for Storyblok app using modern web technologies.
- Own the end-to-end Software Development Lifecycle from requirement review to reliable delivery.
- Take technical responsibility for a frontend subsystem ensuring maintainability and scalability.
- Identify systemic risks and architectural bottlenecks to drive proactive remediation.
- Break down ambiguous technical problems into clear strategies and implementation plans.
- Raise engineering standards through code reviews, documentation, and technical guidance.
- Write technical design documents and communicate trade-offs to stakeholders.
- Mentor engineers to grow technical ownership and team capability.
