Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, or a similar technical role.
- Strong hands-on experience managing Kubernetes environments and container orchestration platforms at scale.
- Proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Shell.
- 5+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code practices and tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with secrets management solutions including HashiCorp Vault, AWS Systems Manager Parameter Store, or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with major cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, containerization, CI/CD principles, and modern software delivery practices.
- Demonstrated experience implementing GitOps methodologies and automated deployment workflows.
- Experience designing secure cloud environments and supporting application security initiatives.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to develop creative and scalable technical solutions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with distributed engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead automation engineering initiatives to optimize deployment processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Design, configure, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters at enterprise scale.
- Develop innovative cloud deployment solutions using modern infrastructure technologies and engineering practices.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable, automated, and efficient software delivery.
- Build and maintain security tooling to protect cloud infrastructure and applications from potential threats.
- Create solutions that improve developer workflows and streamline application delivery through GitOps practices.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules and automation scripts for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
- Improve microservice development workflows by abstracting infrastructure complexity and simplifying configurations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate solutions across major cloud service providers.
- Support continuous improvement of platform reliability, scalability, and security standards.
