Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum five years of experience in quality control, field inspections, or related technical fields.
- Strong understanding of vehicle hardware aftermarket installations.
- Proficiency with product fit/form/function quality, CAN/J1939 signal deciphering, and electronics testing.
- Familiarity with trucking industry trailer operations and safety specifications.
- Ability to interpret technical documents and engineering drawings.
- Basic knowledge of calibration and maintenance for testing equipment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods, including working at heights.
Responsibilities
- Perform product hardware installations for pilot customers and projects requiring up to 90% travel.
- Manage inventory, tools, and travel logistics for site installations.
- Execute software-to-hardware commissioning and firmware updates to specifications.
- Conduct field inspections and routine testing to verify product quality and compliance.
- Document and escalate deviations from quality standards.
- Record and maintain field data and test results in company databases.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on findings, trends, and quality issues.
- Serve as primary client contact on-site and train customer resources.
- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment.
