Requirements
- Experience building and running operationally stable, scalable, and cost-efficient backend services.
- Proficiency in building backend services using Go.
- Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks.
- Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with deployment technologies (e.g., GitHub Actions, CircleCI) and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Ability to learn fast and solve open-ended technical challenges.
- Interest in understanding and solving business problems for customers.
- Reside in the Boston metro area for hybrid collaboration or be located in EST/CST time zones for remote work.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for in-person meetings and events.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and internal users to ensure the platform meets customer needs.
- Prototype and develop new functionality in collaboration with engineering team members.
- Provide technical leadership for system architecture and design.
- Build and operate data services driving application and API performance.
- Coach team members to grow engineering skills.
