Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
- Active CompTIA Linux+ certification.
- Minimum of three years of field experience or two years of teaching experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with learning technologies such as Canvas.
- Effective presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking capabilities.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Synchronous online teaching experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Teach synchronous online courses via Microsoft Teams on Mondays and Tuesdays.
- Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning and engagement.
- Modify instructional methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Maintain accurate records in the student database, including attendance and grades.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and internal college policies.
- Submit required documentation including attendance logs, exam records, and lab sheets.
- Collaborate with staff on projects and communicate resource needs for instructional support.
